The West Fjords

Getting around the West Fjords is not for the faint of heart. Steep twisting roads can require care manueveuring. The effort isn't without reward however. The views are unbeatable and unlike any other corner of the country. Crossing from fjord to fjord from each sheltered sanctuary to the next, the temptation is definitely there to stay forever and be absorbed into the Icelandic pure beauty.
