I wasn't sure I was ready for Reykjavik. I had been out in the moss and glacier fresh waterfalls starting a far off horizons for over a week. Was I ready to into a city? I needn't have worried. Reykjavik captures the same magic and reinterprets into a modern stylish city with plenty of inspiration borrowed from nature. Hallgrimskirkja, the big church and Harpa, the concert hall both reflecting the hexagonal basalt I had seen all over the country. Bright coloured buildings and abudant art spoke of the vibrancy and creative energy and the spirit of a country that would always overcome whatever challenges came its way.
